Why?

  • 45% of Australians will experience a mental health condition during their lifetime. Thats nearly every second person!!

  • 91% of employee feel that working in a mentally safe workplace is important, compared to 88% who think that physical safety is important.

  • 11 Billion dollars, thats how much undiagnosed mental health conditions cost business in Australia each year.

  • 52% of employees believe that their workplace is mentally safe, compared to 76% who think it is physically safe.

  • Nearly 90% of healthcare workers have experienced occupational violence in their workplace

Mindful Innovative Action assisted us with a program/challenge to engage staff during Mental Health Month. It was difficult to access our workforce due to COVID so this program was perfect. Staff found the program easy to navigate and were able to access it at a time that suited them and their work roster. Staff feedback was very positive regarding the content of the program and many reported learning new ways to implement mindfulness in to their daily routine. Jen made the set up easy, we didn’t need to do a thing. It was such a pleasure working with Jen.

How?

Traditional Employee Assistance Programs are not used by employees, they are great in theory but not so useful in practice.

So we put the fun back into workplace wellbeing programs.

  • Wellbeing challenges that encourage team building and resilience,

  • Self awareness courses that individuals can use like mindfulness programs or how to manage negative workplace behaviours.

  • Mentoring or peer support programs that build relationships

  • Mental health and distress tolerance training

  • Critical incident de-brief session

We are the experts in challenging behaviours!!

We will work with your Managers to help them manage challenging behaviours in the workplace. We do this by analysing the situation and the behaviours, developing a solution to manage the behaviours using positive behavioural programming techniques. We then work with your Managers to implement the solution.

Your team will develop the skills they need to manage challenging behaviour and build a positive workplace dynamic.

Jen’s approach to mindfulness and well-being is truly refreshing.
Mindful Innovative Action does not set unrealistic expectations that you can’t stick to.
Instead, you’ll be guided to discover what does and doesn’t work for you so you can find ways to incorporate mindfulness into your daily life.
If you are looking to make sustainable changes and set yourself up for a happy, healthy future, you will love Mindful Innovative Action!”
